Reinvent Act 2 Life after 60 Are you feeling like a “has been?” You missed all the knocks of opportunity and there are none left? You missed the boat, didn’t do the thing and now it is too late? Do you wonder if people will remember you and your legacy? You know you are called to write that book, create that podcast but.. You hate the sound of your voice!! Everybody does at first. Who will listen? Read? Not your problem, if you are called to share your job is to share. I am not tech savvy! We all know someone younger who can help us out. It’s called reverse mentoring. Do you have regrets now? Let’s not take them to the grave. You are brave enough to do that thing, live that dream, it’s not too late!! Good news!! Hi there, I’m Laurie and I felt the same way! It seemed like life was passing me by as I was a single mom raising three kids on my own. Making decisions that where good for the family but not in line with the dreams I held. Doing what was right to support them. I struggled with depression and feeling like my “good life” was over. I was over 50 when my youngest graduated high school and I thought I missed out on everything. Now what? I re invented my dream, told a friend, and started walking in the direction I was terrified of and boy, did I get a lot of nos. I persevered and you can too. I persevered because I listened to people who had overcome challenges, rediscovered their purpose, found fulfillment after 60, started over, created their Act 2, embraced change and new beginnings. Thank you to those who were brave enough to share so we would have hope and believe in a possible future filled with joy. You will even hear some brave souls get coached into their Act 2. Grab your coffee or tea and that beautiful journal you just bought to secretly think about your dreams and get ready to go for a ride. I am talking with lots of people just like you who in their second act of life made big changes reinvented themselves creating a life they love. It is so do able and they are going to share how they did it. I just know you are going to be encouraged and maybe even come up with a plan for your Act 2. If not now, when? If not you, who? If not this, what? What if these brave souls who have shared their heart and their story said NO rather than yes? Do you wish they had a book if they don’t already? Would you read/listen to it? You are just like them. You have a story and it is the answer to someones prayer. Jaysiah Ferguson, talks about infertility, building a business, loosing a spouse, parenting triplets and finding her purpose. Although she was mad when she gave up her job to go in business with her husband she is grateful now because she wouldn’t have had this business and support after loosing him to cancer. I love how she reminds us of some things not to say to people when they are grieving and even talks about dating after the loss of a partner. Sit back for the ride as we hit all the speed bumps, potholes, and open road.

The process of becoming who she was created to be has been a slow and painful go but she is living her best life on an island creating a life she loves all while helping others in their journey too. She used to get stuck in fight or flight, fawn or freeze but now she says she FACES it.

Laura Lewis, Transplant survivor, gratitude warrior, gut health heralder and Wellness Momma! After getting diagnosed with kidney failure Laura went into survival mode so she could still do all the things she needed to for her family all while hooked up to a dialysis machine for 10 hours a day. She was working full time building her home business, parenting her kids and helping her husband build his brick and mortar business. She is so grateful she was able to celebrate her 40th birthday! Laura believes in staying positive so you don’t spiral down when things get really hard.

April Provost decided to put away her shame and accept a hand up. She talks about putting away judgement bias and self-loathing and how it lead her to a life she never imagined what possible. She talks about the stigma of drug addiction and the journey of holding her head high because she is in recovery and doing the hard work. She took the baby steps that have lead her to be able to help hundreds showing them the way out of the mire.

Celeste Isaac loved her life, she loved working with kids. Then an illness hit her taking away all the things she loved making everyday a challenge. Slowly but surely she began to find answers helping her heal and get a life, not her old one back. But she found a product and a company that changed her life so in her 50’s as she began to get her strength back, she also started her own home business helping others get well too. She loves being a small business owner and loves that she has the energy and mobility to enjoy her grandchildren.

Nancy has always loved music but in her marriage it all took a back seat while she raised her kids. Then when the marriage fell apart she realized if she could go for what she wanted even though she was an introvert and it was terrifying. She is remarried to Dan Lamont an accomplished photojournalist – who has worked for Time, Newsweek, Life, NYTimes.

Michelle Valley knew she wanted to start her own business, but staying in a place of comfort proved to be more alluring. After a divorce, a pandemic and a car accident she was forced to slow down and take a break and that is when she discovered her true calling and is now working in her gifts to help others with their business.
